Less car.
More driving.

We started with a blank sheet and three rules: keep it light, keep it balanced, keep the sky open. Every part on Series One had to earn its place against those rules.

01 — Weight

Target curb weight, with fluids.

Everything else follows from the number on the scale.

A lighter car needs smaller brakes, softer springs and less power to feel quick. So we fixed the weight first and designed backwards. The tub is bonded and riveted aluminum. The hood, trunk lid and seat shells are carbon fiber. There is no infotainment screen bigger than a phone, because you already own one.

02 — Balance

The engine sits behind the front axle. The gearbox sits at the back.

Putting the heavy parts between the wheels is old wisdom, and it still works. The engine is mounted low and fully behind the front axle line, with the transmission joined to the rear differential. The result is a car that turns in without pushing and rotates without surprising you.

03 — Open air

No motors. No waiting at the light.

A powered roof adds weight high up, exactly where you don't want it. Our soft top is manual: one center latch, one motion, and it folds into its own well behind the seats. It weighs 22 lb, keeps the trunk usable with the top down, and is double-lined to stay quiet at highway speeds with it up.

Performance

Quick enough.
Honest about it.

A 2.0-liter turbocharged four with a flat torque curve and a 7,200 rpm redline. It's not the most powerful car you could buy. It might be the one you drive most.

Good questions.

Is the deposit really refundable?

Yes. Your $1,000 deposit is fully refundable at any time until you sign a purchase agreement. Email [email protected] and we'll return it to your original payment method, usually within 10 business days.

Does a reservation lock in the price?

No. Prices shown on this site are estimates. You'll see confirmed pricing for your exact build before you're asked to commit to anything, and you can walk away at that point with a full refund.

When do deliveries start?

First customer deliveries are targeted for 2027. We'll give you a specific delivery window when you confirm your order. Timing depends on production ramp-up and on where you are in the reservation queue.

Can I reserve from any US state?

Reservations are open to residents of all 50 states and Washington, D.C. How a vehicle can be sold and delivered varies by state law, so we'll explain the options for your state before you order.

Can I change my configuration later?

Yes. The build you choose now is only a starting point. You'll be able to change anything when you receive your order invitation.

Can I transfer my reservation to someone else?

Reservations are personal and can't be transferred or resold. If your plans change, you can cancel for a full refund at any time before ordering.

What do you do with my information?
